Making your care work for you.
What sets us apart from other care providers is the investment in our people.
Helen and Tomas
Helen has been visiting Tomas for a year. They enjoy their mornings together, as Helen helps Tomas out around the house and garden twice a week. Tomas said “Since I started finding it more difficult to move about the house, Helen has been a huge help. She picks up groceries for me and we cook meals together that I can eat throughout the week.” Helen said “I love my mornings preparing meals with Tomas – he is a really passionate cook but finds it more difficult to move about the kitchen and use the different utensils. That’s where I come in. I have learned so much from Tomas and my kids love the new recipes I’m bringing home for them!”
Vishul and Sonia
Vishul and Sonia have been married for 30 years. Since Vishul developed dementia, Sonia has been making sure that he remembers to take his medication on time, helping him with washing and dressing, and making sure he is able to get around their home safely and comfortably. Recently, Vishul and Sonia have been having some extra support from Rainbow. Our care teams have helped them to get set up with some equipment that means that Vishul can move about the home more easily without Sonia’s support. Meanwhile, their daily visits from a carer mean that Sonia no longer needs to support Vishul with his personal care – helping them to focus more on enjoying their time together, and allowing Sonia to have a few hours to get out and about to meet friends and she has even joined her local choir.
